Peter Hadar, MD, MS, is a clinician-researcher specializing in epilepsy and brain disorders. He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University (AB ’13) and earned both his MD and MS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. He continued his training in Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a clinical fellowship in Epilepsy at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2024. Dr. Hadar previously worked at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics, where his research localizing seizure onset and understanding structure affects function. He is the recipient of the NIH NINDS R25/UE5 Grant and the AAN/AES/ABF Susan Spencer Scholarship in Epilepsy. His current research aims to personalize neurostimulation therapies for epilepsy and other brain disorders, while also investigating human behavior through intracranial neurophysiology and neurostimulation. His methodological approach integrates multi-modal neuroimaging, human intracranial neurophysiology, and cortical stimulation mapping to advance therapeutic and scientific understanding of neurological function.
