Ashley Walton, PhD

Dr. Ashley Walton received a degree in Interaction Design and a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Cincinnati's Center for Cognition, Action & Perception. She integrates knowledge from neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, machine learning and user-centered design to understand how complex human behavior emerges from our interactions with others and our environments. She is currently a fellow at both MGH and the MIT Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences, leading the initiative for engaging patients as partners in intracranial neuroscience research.
