Andrew Li, PhD

Research Fellow, MGH Lab for Neuroimaging of Coma and Consciousness

Andrew Li's research interests lie in the application of statistical signal and image processing and machine learning theory to modeling and analysis of biomedical data. Of particular recent interest, he is focusing on the development of computational methods for analysis and inference of brain connectivity using data from a variety of spatiotemporal imaging modalities, such as electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). While sitting at the intersection of electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, and neuroscience, he hopes to better understand the functioning mechanism of the brain and hope this type of interdisciplinary research could make a difference in someone's life in the near future.
